Club Kit
Kit orders generally happen once a season, so we recommend keeping an eye out in the Whatsapp community as this is where announcements will be made on kit orders when they occur.
Sizing information
A sizing guide for EV2 kit can be found here. Although it is worth noting that EV2 kit runs a little small based on club member feedback and they tend to be very slim fitting.
If you have not ordered any EV2 kit in the past or borrowed any EV2 shirts, we suggest asking other club members to try on to get a feel for the actual fit (our old kit supplier was VX3 so make sure you don’t try one of these). If you are unable to try any kit on, we would recommend going one size up from your usual size.
Kit numbers
When ordering any kit top, one of the more important decisions you will be making is what number you want to have on it. During a kit order, numbers will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis, so if there’s a particular number you have your eye on you’ll need to be quick!
Reserved numbers
Once you have a number, it will remain yours throughout your time at the club and no other members will be able to use that number. There are some cases where we will release a number and they are as follows:
- When a member leaves the club, their number will remain reserved for one full season, after which it will be released.
- If a member is temporarily leaving the club but is expecting to come back (e.g. moving away for a fixed term job or going to university) we will accept reasonable requests to reserve their number until they return.
- If a member changes their number, they forfeit their old number and it will be released for immediate use.
Home Kit
As the name implies, this is the kit we play all our home matches in. This is also the kit used for most Welsh League matches, and when we enter tournaments. It is recommended that all players purchase the home shirt as a minimum, however there are options to borrow kit if you have joined partway through the season and have not had an opportunity to order any kit.
Away Kit
This is the kit generally used for away matches at the regional level and above, and in certain other cases where there is likely to be a clash. It is recommended that any regional players ensure they have away kit, although this is available to all club members to buy. As with the home kit, there are options to borrow kit if you have joined partway through the season and have not had an opportunity to order any kit.
Training Kit
This kit is not currently in use in any official capacity, and is not a requirement, but it is available to purchase during a kit order because everyone loves merch!
Other kit
There will be some occasions where other kit is available to order (e.g. tracksuits). These orders are less common and will be based on demand in order to fulfil minimum order quantities.
