Start of season party 05

O'Neills get the CCKC treatment as we stage the start of season party all organised by Rachel.

Go Karts

Paintballing

A splendid evening out at supakarts all organised by Pam. A day at Delta Force in Pentyrch organised by Rachel - We'll have to give the bruises time to heal before we have another bash at this....

2005 awards night!

Chepstow races on Zoe's birthday

More gong handing out. This time with mostly edible (or undrinkable prizes). Results and photos here. Thanks to Josh Midge and Rachel for organising and hosting the whole evening. As a birthday treat Zoe takes us all to Chepstow races on Carribean Hawaiian night. We're pretty much the only plonkers there in Hawaiian gear, apart from Midge who very sensibly came in a pirate costume. Pam and Kate got groped at the bar by some chavs and the rest of us threw away plenty of wonga backing useless three-legged nags. Any winnings were sensibly taken straight to the bar.

Cocktail bash 2005 with added Exeterity!

Pub Golf to say bye-bye to Rob!

Photos from the annual 'drink till you throw' cocktail fest at Aidan's are here. We managed to avoid last year's problem of not enough alcohol by getting in more than it's physically possible to drink, but most of it ended up down the toilet anyway. Long Island Iced Teas, Cosmos, Tequila Sunrises and mllions of B52s later and Aidan's house was suitably trashed, same again next year then?! Some vague recollections from the night and some memories brought back by the photos are here. Note how the quality of picture plummets as the evening progresses, rather like everyone's sight.

The Champion Charity Cowboys and Indians Curry Ceilidh

Old Gits pub crawl

Photos from the most cross cultural charity event ever to be held in a converted chicken barn on a farm just off the M4 are to be found here. Note how Pam spent the evening with a half empty wine glass glued to her hand. In honour of Sian's birthday and Jack finally reaching an age where he could buy his first legal drink, we set off on a round of pub golf. Rachel and Sian were harassing every 'young maaan' in sight and smothering Rob with yards of lipstick. Midge and Taff were too old to even need to dress up, and with Lee just being far too convincing in his cardigan, it was left to Jack to storm to victory with a perfect 9 holes in one and Aidan to go home and chuck his guts up all night. Top night!

Assault Course

Cocktail Party

Read about our 'Dirtier than Terry's mind' romp in the assault course here. Aidan's house was the venue for our highly unconvincing impression of classy people at a cocktail party Predictably enough the evening descended into a 'sod the mixers, get me some more vodka' type farce that cost Aidan the majority of his liqueur cabinet. All to the dulcet tones of Rage against the Machine.

Crimbo Bash. Mexican styleee

The rugby/bowling/beers/curry/Rachel's Birthday/Exeter staying over mega social

We decided to celebrate the birth of our lord by eating Enchiladas. Some photos from El Paso's, or 'that unbelievably crowded restaurant' as I like to call it here. Silly hats optional, so we're all wearing them then.... Some daft photos of us trying to bowl after consuming much beer while watching the rugby. I left out most of the photos I took since an arse photo montage would have got a bit silly...

The 2004 end of season awards night

To round off the season in fine style we all converged on Terra Nova for beers, grub and boogieing. Once we'd cleared the area with a noisy toast of free Sambucas, our compere for the evening, Josh was able to hand out some awards and wine, photos here
