A whole season's worth of merriment, activities and drinking and associated carnage
Dear All!In my new post as Social Sec, I thought I'd drop you all a line to let you all know what the forthcoming social plans are. Currently in the pipeline for the coming autumn and new year:
START OF SEASON BASH.
Hoping to hire out part of a bar for private drinks and some daft games. A chance for the new people to get acquainted with everyone off the court.
PAINTBALLING.
We have bought 25 tickets, its first come, first served. Tickets are the bargain price of 5 pounds each, then on the day you have to buy your own ammunition. Please pay me your 5 quids asap to avoid disappointment!
CHRISTMAS PARTY.
It'll be the classic combination of food, drinks and dancing I imagine. Crazy!
There are many birthdays between now and Christmas, so I expect there will be the odd party for those people too. (I have your DOBs!!)
Into 2006, there is the CCKC official inaugural ski trip to France (see Midge for details), and the 3rd annual cocktail party sometime in February. It's a whirlwind of social fun!
Any suggestions of things to do, or for wider dissemination of 'unofficial' socials, please let me know.
