Gotta say, I was tempted to leave last week's write up in place for this match, so similar was the outcome. For the fourth game on the trot City played one half of great korfball and one half of not-so-good stuff, but still came away with the win.

The game started with two excellent shots from Cardiff Uni firing them into an early lead, but with Harry back in the side and determined to show City what they'd been missing, the lead evaporated pretty quickly, a penalty and a feed to Kristina were his contributions to our first attacks, then, after Lee and Ramzi both drained long distance efforts, Harry knocked down a drop off shot from the back, a trick Susan was to repeat a couple of goals later. Some more long shots from Susan, Taff and Harry, and Kristina's short goal following a neat turn from feed meant City had put together a run of 10 goals without reply.

Craig Dyer reduced the deficit to 10-3, but City weren't finished yet, Midge popped in a shot from right underneath the korf, Kristina brought up her hattrick with a midrange shot, and a halfway line effort from Harry sailed in for a 13-3 halftime lead.

Somehow though, City were yet again unable to keep the momentum going, and the second half dragged a bit. Zoe found Lee for a nicely slotted runner, before a goal from Jaqui got the students going again. Kristina was having a great game, racing in for her 4th, but any hopes she had of catching Harry for top scorer were dented as he scored his fifth in identical fashion. Two more goals for the Uni sandwiched another longshot from Ramzi, but with time running down and the game won, the last few minutes were a little flat; Harry's penalty was the last goal for City, neatly mirroring his effort at the start of the game, and making him the third player to rack up six goals in City colours this season. Final score, 18-6.
