With the league title in their pocket, Dragons 2 enjoyed a much less stressful game against a university second team, rooted to the bottom of a division filled with more experienced teams. The girls proved the key with all the first 6 goals. Amy ran in for one, Angharad finished from short range, then Donna scored from Rob’s astute pass. She also added the 4th from the penalty spot after being fouled. Amy then completed her hat-trick with 2 short shots. Bristol Uni then rallied with 2 goals either side of Rob’s runner, before half-time. Dragons started the second half as well as the first though, with Steve scoring from short range before half-time sub Helen scored with a penalty and a running in shot. James got off the mark from close in before Angharad scored from near the sidelines. After a third Badger goal, Rob added a long shot and then James’s pass beat Uni’s front defence for Ang to complete a hat-trick. Bristol Uni had the last word with a long shot to complete the scoring at 4-14.
