Hoping quickly over the bridge, City found themselves in the roof garden that is Bristol Uni's sports hall. They also found themselves a rapid 1-0 down. However, the score was levelled even faster by the rare sight of Cally sinking a big long shot. Come half time the game was a fairly even affiar, with the Bristol Uni side a couple up. With subs all round, and debutant Kate Marriott swapping for debutant Trisha Herring, and James Frost making a second cap, the teams looked very different. So would the second half performance, as Bristol found their range from the half way line. A procession of baskets from range effectivly sealed the game to the home team, as they romped the second half to win 19-9. Despite this, City did score some well worked goals from Elaine and Dan, They looked more comfortable with the ball and with more penalty conversions and less bad luck, this could have been a closer result which would have been a fairer reflection on the performance. Finally, big thanks to Kevin for reffing us.
