Cardiff's final game of the season saw the return home match against Bristol City.

Cardiff aimed to end the indoor season with a bang, but sadly it was not to be. Both teams seemed to have learnt from the scoring free-for-all of the previous fixture and this was a dour defensive affair. Three experienced players made their Cardiff City debuts, but the lack of team cohesion ultimately cost the team their first victory. In a first half totally dominated by the defences, Cardiff restricted Bristol to a series of hopeful one shot attacks from long range, with Dave Walker successfully blocking three efforts, only to see the Bristol defence thwart all attacking efforts at the other end. While the passing time and again Cardiff's assured passing weaved patterns rather than build platforms on which to base an attack. One long shot was all that separated the sides at half time - Bristol 1-0 up.

Despite substitutions from both teams the second half began with more of the same. Simple chances went begging and players left wide open by a retreating defence were not given the ball. After about 5 minutes another Bristol long shot went in, and finally the weary defenders could have a go at attacking. With her first attacking touch of the ball Cally pulled a goal back for Cardiff, but it was to no avail as Bristol immediately countered and sent the defenders straight back where they'd come from. This time two more goals from Bristol came quickly, and despite some all round better play from both sides there was no more scoring, and a 5-1 result did little jsutice to the efforts of either team.
