Small print

  • Times and dates have been confirmed, so should not change. Please let Terry or Elaine know if there are any games for which you know you will be unavailable
  • At the moment the order of play when 2nd and 1st team matches are at the same time is undecided, this will be confirmed to everyone as soon as we know. (This is due to the league getting referees sorted out)
  • Players travelling to the away games in Bristol will be guaranteed one full game - ie you will not be making the trip just to sit on the sidelines! (The Horfield trip may be the exception to this, since we have only one game and may want to take substitutes)
  • The league will run from early November through to late March, with 6 first teams, namely Cardiff City, Bristol City, Bristol Uni, Horfield (Bristol), Exeter and Cardiff Uni playing home and away. Second team matches will be played wherever possible and Cardiff City will be playing as many as we are able, although it is unlikely that second team results will count towards a final league placing, unless all matches can be completed.
  • Obviously the first team games will be more competitive and will require more commitment from the players involved, whereas the second team games will be played mainly for fun. Terry will be attempting to sort the club into two teams based on appearances at training, player preference and ability. Please let him know your preferred team, and whether you're happy to play for either.

Basic Notes

Each game will cost a few pounds each to cover the hall fees throughout the season.
I will rearrange our home fixture with Cardiff Uni if we go to the Edinburgh tournament
We estimate away trips to start 75 minutes before the start time for trips to Bristol, and 2 hours for the Exeter trip.
Once these games have been completed we will move training outdoors and play the Oxford tour (and hopefully host one)
