Korf what?!
Korfball is an exciting mixed team sport, accessible to both young and old, complete beginner or international, which is increasing in popularity throughout the world.
Normally Korfball is played with four boys and four girls but the Korflite league plays half court games meaning that there are two boys and two girls on every team.
Korflite 2011
Last year saw the start of Korflite with eight teams entering and over 70 people playing Korfball each week. Teams were made up of friends and companies including Roath Park Primary School and Newport Probation Service.
The 2011 winners were the Knightriders, a group of friends made up of three complete beginners, one current korfballer and three korfballers tempted out of retirement.
Different players blogged on their experiences each week. See what they thought about the league!
Week 1 – Susan Jones
Week 2 – Ben Rose
Week 3 – Rachel Knight
Week 4 – Rich Olyer

Enter a team
Playing Korfball is a great team building exercise. If you are a company or group of friends who are interested in playing you will be allocated an experienced player to help your team, give you an idea of the rules and tactics and help with your refereeing commitments.
Rolling subs are allowed so it is suggested that teams have at least three boys and three girls.
Be part of a team
If you have friends who play Korfball join with them for an enjoyable summer of exercise and socialising
Anyone interested in taking part in the Korflite league can email chair@cardiffkorfball.co.uk for further information or to enter a team.
