Don’t do drugs

For the first time in its history, 2 British korfballers have failed drugs tests.  As korfball is being taken increasingly seriously in Wales, it’s important that players realise that they are liable for testing both in and out of competition.  Please be aware that some medications that you might be taking may be on the banned list and you may need to get a Therapeutic Use Exemption - Asthma sufferers in particular may fall into this category.

Further information and links can be found on the EKA website.

Filed under: News — admin at 3:39 pm on Sunday, July 15, 2007

As the date of our Summer Tournament is nearing, we are looking to confirm exact numbers. We have had alot of interest expressed which is great news but only have space for 20 teams.

First refusal will be given to teams who have already expressed an interest, but be warned places are filling up fast, and it is already promising to be bigger and better than last year!

In order to avoid disappointment please send payment of £32 (entry fee per team) along with the registration form to Zoe Gabica ASAP and before 31st July.

Further details about the Tournament will be posted on the tournaments page.
