Cardiff Cyclones, Cardiff City’s first team are busy preparing for next month’s Europa Cup qualifiers in France. The team qualified for the tournament by winning the Welsh Korfball League and Champions Trophy.
The tournament is being held from Friday 14 September to Sunday 16 September in Montrond Les Bains, France. The squad will face teams from Luxembourg, Scotland, France and Catalonia.
Zoe Rose, Chair of Cardiff City Korfball Club said, “Cardiff City Cyclones are currently training hard to make sure we do our best against some of the best teams in Europe.
“We are very proud to be representing Wales at this international tournament and we are excited to put the hard work of training into practice.”
The squad currently consists of:
Girls: Cheya Tyson, Julie Prosser, Elaine Dunlop, Ruth Campbell
Boys: Dave Thomas, Ramzi Barbir, Ian Russel, Stuart wood
Invitations for a 5th boy and girl are still pending.
