Last Saturday saw the closely matched Hurricanes take on Uni 1 at Talybont. With the league marred by forfeits and administration, how better to forget about it all and play some good korfball!
Well, with Hurricanes out of practice for a while, good korfball is hardly a good word to describe the match. Nonetheless, Hurricanes played well overall, closely matching Uni1 goals until the end of the second half when Uni pulled a 2-goal lead.
With few minutes left on the clock, Cheya brought the game back into contension with a long shot, but helas it was too little too late. Hurricanes narrowly missed out with a 5-6 defeat.
