An away korfball tournament never seems quite right without the un-holy start to the day; Sunday 7th March was no exception. Cardiff City’s first team and defending champions, the Cyclones, set off to Oxford to compete in the Regionals;
a tournament where the best two teams from the WKA, SWKA and OKA compete for two places in the Champions Trophy in Norwich.

In the Oxford leg of the Regionals, Cyclones were faced against Oxford 2 and Horfield. After 2 intensive 60 minutes of korfball matches, the end scores were 13-6 and 15-6 respectively in favour to Cyclones.

These two great wins puts Cyclones top of the Regionals after the first round. The next round of the Regionals will be played in Cardiff on the Saturday 10th April 2010.
