A wet morning greeted two Cardiff City teams at the Bristol Tournament – I thought the sun was always meant to shine at Bristol?!
First challenge was to assemble one of Aidan’s many Gazebos to shelter from the elements with a our fingers crossed that the rain would stop.
As the matches got under way the weather eased, the wet ground made change of direction tricky.
City A had a fantastic day beating Horfield, Bristol, Reading and Highbury in the morning pool matches.
The second City team had a more difficult day struggling with the wet grass and ball. Moral was kept up however and we played well. Congratulations to Kate S, Kate B, Pete and Stu who all scored.Â
At the end of the tournament, City A finished the day undefeated and winners of the Bristol tournament. City B were handed the wooden spoon…
Other highlights of the day include Max stepping on Elaine D and a toddler!

Then it was back to Cardiff for our awards night!
